She married Charles Taylor on August 23, 1947 in Rockford, Il.
Survivors include sons, Robert (Alice) Taylor, Brian (Dorothy) Taylor, and Greg Taylor; daughter, Shawntell (Jerry) Desch; 10 grandchildren , and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one son.
Funeral service 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 19,2013 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Pastor Wayne Hodge officiating. Visitation 10 a.m. till the time of service. Entombment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Home and Hospice in Oregon, Il, or the American Heart Association.
