Edward “Bud” L. McLain, 80, of Rockford, passed away May 10, 2015. Born July 3, 1934 in Greene County, TN; he was the son of Clarence D. and Lecta (Malone) McLain. He married Georgia L. Lamb on September 11, 1956 in Rockford.
The former owner and operator of Bud and Son’s Refrigeration, Bud enjoyed gardening, riding his motorcycle with his wife, the Chicago Bears, NASCAR, and spending time with his dogs.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Georgia L. McLain; children, Timothy (Debra) McLain, Kathy Richards, Charlene Lamb, and LaVonda (Carl) Carter; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Alton (Mary) McLain; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; sons, David and Marlon McLain; sister, Donna Crawford.
