Ellen Ida Feldt

Ellen Ida Feldt, 96, of Beloit, WI, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter, Cheryl, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was born November 21, 1929 in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of George and Emeline (Frantz) Brey. Ellen graduated from Marshfield High School. She married her sweetheart, Marvin Feldt, on June 13, 1947 at Klondike Trinity Church in Richfield, WI. Ellen was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Beloit. She was employed at Rockford Products. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and gardening. Most of all, she adored her family. Ellen was a proud mother of seven children, many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ellen is loved and missed by her children, Doug (Diane) Feldt, Cheryl Ries (Joe Vaughan) and George (Carol) Feldt; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Ron Niman; daughter-in-law, Debbie Feldt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, children Jane Niman, Valli Rae (Jimmy) Miller, Rick Feldt and Randy Feldt, and seven siblings.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
