Emory E Grantham Jr., age 66, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. He was born February 22, 1959 to Emory and Kathryn (Morgan) Grantham in Miami, Florida. He married the love of his life, Rebecca Garst, on February 9, 1985 and they spent 39 wonderful years together before she passed in 2024. He worked for many years as a mechanic. Emory enjoyed tinkering with cars and working in his yard when the weather was nice. He was always available to help out a friend. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs.
He is survived by his son, David Grantham; daughter, Cassi (Kyle) Grantham; grandchildren, Maverick and McKenzie; siblings, Karen Grantham and Chris Grantham; nieces and nephews, Josh, Jeff, and Courtenie; and furry friends, Sadie and Oso.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Grantham; and parents, Emory and Kathryn Grantham.
A Celebration of Life for Emory will be held on Sunday, February 15 at 2:00 pm at Rockton Inn, 102 E Main St. Rockton, Illinois 61072.
