Gerardo Flores

In loving memory of my brother Gerardo Flores. Born May 22, 1963, in Chicago, IL to Jose Flores and Mercedes Lopez Plascencia. He was the stepson to Cirilo Plascencia. Gerardo was a Father, Grand-Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Cousin. Gerardo was the Father of 2 beautiful daughters, Yvette Flores Acevedo and Bianca Flores. He was the Grand-Father to Logan and Emilia. Gerardo was the brother to Junior Flores, Silvia Mendoza, Norma Meija, and Marilu Molina.

Gerardo always had a smile on his face. He was caring, always putting others first before himself, and had a big heart. His was a cheerful and strong individual. We will greatly miss his presence; life will never be the same but there is peace in our heart because he is no longer in pain. He is safe with the Lord and united with his mother. Until that glorious day, we will carry him in our heart every day and everywhere we go. We will cherish his beautiful soul and the loving life that he lived. Our dear Gerardo, we love and may you rest in peace until we meet again.

Service to celebrate Gerardo's life will be 2:00 pm Friday September 23, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park, IL. Visitation for Gerardo will be from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
