Greg Knapp

Greg Knapp, age 57, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. Greg was born in Rockford, IL on April 1, 1965 to Karl and Alberta Knapp. Greg graduated from Harlem High School in 1983 and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from NIU. On October 7, 1995 Greg married the love of his life, Sabrina Weaver. He worked for 3M for 7 years. Greg was a member at Christ United Methodist Church in Rockford, IL. Greg enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Greg is survived by his wife, Sabrina Knapp; children, Vivian (Bailey) Knapp-Beard and Ian Knapp; siblings, Karen Williams and Gary Knapp; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Alberta Knapp; brother, Brian Knapp. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 1pm until the time of Service at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
