Harold Johnson, age 80, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born January 22, 1945 in Louisiana to Simon and Izola (Cyprian) Johnson. Harold worked at Madison Foundry in Rockford, Illinois for many years. He married the love of his life, Martha Beasley, on January 27, 1984. He enjoyed listening to music, especially the blues. He also liked to admire antique sports cars and enjoy his Corvette.
Harold is survived by his wife of 41 years, Martha Johnson; children, Tyceria (Alvin) Posley, Antoinette Beasley, and Philip Standfield; grandchildren, Nigel Posley and Nila Posley; sister, Florence Robert; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harold Johnson; parents, Simon and Izola; and siblings, Bobbie McGowan, Clyde, Simon, and JD Johnson.
