Herbert Crenshaw passed away Tuesday, October 2nd at the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle, Il.
Herbert served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. Married Ruth (Olszewski) in 1968. Operated Classic Concessions for many years with his wife and children after retiring from the Army.
Survived by loving family, wife Ruth, children Shelly, Eric, Julie (Mike) Butterworth, and Brian. Grandchildren: Jacob (Jamye) Crenshaw, Brandon Crenshaw, Destiny Weeks, Savannah, Caitlyn and Taylor Crenshaw, Owen and Kaleigh Butterworth. Great Grandchildren: Aiden, Brooklyn and Cooper Crenshaw; Riley, Leia and Denver Weeks.
Predeceased by parents Ruth, Theodore, and stepfather Bill Giger; brothers Raymond and John Giger, Sherman and sister-in-law (Vivian) Crenshaw; sister Pauline Richardson; and beloved dogs Bently and Sadie.
Special thanks to the nurses and aides at the Illinois Veterans Home who took special care of Herbert.
