Ilene Muggler

Ilene J. Muggler, 83, of Rockford died at 1:10 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her home following a brief illness. Born November 21, 1927 near Cambridge, WI, the daughter of Clarence and Dina (Erickson) Hammen. She was a residence of Rockford since 1960, coming here from DeKalb, IL. Married Thomas Muggler in Dubuque, IA on December 28, 1953. She was employed at GC Electronics from 1968 until retirement in 1989. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1945. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Trickel of Oak Hill, W.VA and Patricia (Wayne) Kling of Tomah, WI, grandchildren, Dustin, Jessica, Richard and Jacqueline, step-grandchildren, Christian Kling and Lisa Anderson, three brothers, Alvin Hammen, of Cambridge, WI, Laverne (Sandra) Hammen of Nerllsville, WI, Francis Hammen of Ft. St. Lucie, FL, sister-in-law of Phyllis Hammen. Predeceased by husband Thomas in 1991, brother, Clifford in 1996, and both parents one in 1968 and the other 1991. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine, Machesney Park, IL with Pastor Chrystal Zimmerman of United Lutheran Church officiating.
