He was a hardworking man who liked to tell stories
James is survived by his children, Ron, Debbie, Robin, Lisa, Donna, Peggy, Wanda, Jean Ann and siblings, Billy Joe and Myrtle He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his special dog Jazzy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; his parents; 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 brother, 1 sister and 3 sons in laws.
The family would like to give special thanks to Drs. James Woodman and William Schulz.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home., 8800 N Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Pastor Ron Meyer will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on the day of service. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the family.
