James Lee Marx, 73, of Monroe Center IL, passed away December 4, 2021. He was a deeply devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. James was born on September 21, 1948 in Rice Lake WI to Marjorie (Kurschner) and Edward Marx. James owned and operated Form Relief Tool Co. He established his business in 1986 to provide manufacturers with tools and materials to support hydraulic systems for the fluid power industry. He took great pride in his work, and to work in a family owned and operated environment. James enjoyed wood working, and working with stained glass. He was a talented musician, and played the guitar. His favorite song to sing and play was “Thank you for giving to the Lord” and he lived that in his life. He loved to play guitar at home and church. James was certainly a man who used the gifts God gave to him, to provide for his family, and show God’s love to many young adults. He was encouraging to all those around him, to work hard and achieve their dreams because “It’s doable.” He’d say. He married his high school sweetheart; Judith (Morley) on September 23, 1967. Together they shared 2 children and 54 years in marriage. To James, his wife Judith was a joy, who could always make him laugh. He will be remembered as a hard-working man of God, and will be missed by many.
