Jeffrey Charles Lindstedt, 61, Holcomb, IL, passed into the loving arms of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Jeff was born on September 7, 1952, to Charles Robert and Donna Lindstedt in Rockford. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy; a graduate of South Dakota State University; and retired from Northern Illinois University. Jeff and former wife, Catherine, were blessed with a precious son, Aaron Robert, who serves with the U.S. Marine Corps. Jeff had a wonderful sense of humor, was an amazing cook, and was a faithful Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed. Surviving Jeff are his son, Aaron; former wife, Cathy; sister, Jill (Michael) Cox; nieces; nephew; aunts; uncle; cousins; special friends Jeff Johnson and Karen Olsen, and many other dear friends. Graveside memorial services will be Saturday, July 5, 2014, at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Memorials in care of family for future designation.
