Jerry Lee Dalton, 47, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2023, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born on December 2, 1975, in Rockford, Illinois to Roy and Linda (Gerloff) Dalton. Jerry attended East High School.
More recently, Jerry was a Truck Driver Instructor at 160 Driving Academy. He loved his job and enjoyed sharing his knowledge to newer people in the field. He was a hard worker. Jerry was a man of few words, but when he did speak it was powerful and meaningful. He overcame many obstacles and challenges in his life. Jerry loved his family dearly, especially his children. It was a priority of his to make sure they were raised with respect and love for others. He was immensely proud of being their father. Jerry loved being outside, especially when the opportunity presented itself in camping or fishing.
Jerry is survived by his father, Roy Dalton; children, Rylee Schwedrsky and Colton Woods; sister, Amanda Schumacher; fiancé, Kim Burton; niece, Alexis Swanson; nephews, Cameron Schumacher, Jesse Schumacher, and Greysin Dalton; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Dalton; brother, Steven Dalton.
