Jesus R. "Jess" Cabello

Jesus R. “Jess” Cabello, 74, of Machesney Park passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018. Born December 25, 1943 in Laredo, TX. Son of Eduardo and Francisca Cabello. Veteran of the United States Marines having served in the Vietnam War. United in Marriage to Emma Janell Higar on February 28, 1975 in Rockford, IL. Employed as a CNC machine operator at the former Barber-Colman and then Gleason Cutting Tools for 33 years. Jess found enjoyment in cooking and grilling for his family, working in his yard, watching old war and history movies, reading and especially anytime spent with his family and his beloved dog, Bentley.

Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Emma Janell; children, Marc Johnson, Christy Cabello, Jess Cabello, Cassie Cabello; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Ed, Grace, Johnny and Arnold; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Lupe Pena.
