Jill A. Kunzelman, 67, Loves Park - Jill A. Kunzelman, 67, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011. She was born February 10, 1944 in Rockford, the daughter of Wendell and Avis Strote. She married the love of her life, Roger, on December 23, 1967. Jill loved reading, brain games, and especially spending time with her granddaughters. She was a past member of the North Park Fire Auxiliary and a current member of the Studebaker Drivers Club (Studebabes). A loving wife, mother and grandma, she will be greatly missed. Survived by her husband, Roger; son Mike (April) Kunzelman; daughter Kim (David) DeMoulin; granddaughters Kirshna, Lily, and Emily; sisters Bonnie Sundance and Wendy Palmer; and her stepfather, Dick Sutton. Predeceased by her parents. Service at 2 pm Monday, August 8 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation from 1 pm to time of service. Reception to follow service at North Park Fire Station, 2191 Harlem Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials to family.
