Jimmie L. Shearer, 72 of Rockford passed away Saturday July 7, 2012 at his home.
He was born October 16, 1939 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas the son of Homer and Stella Shearer.
Jimmie served his country in the United States Army, he married his wife of 54 years Violet Jaworowski on March 15 1958. Jimmie worked for Quaker Oates for 30 years and then for Precision Group for 13 years before retiring in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday July 11, 2012, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, IL. Rev.
