John was born on December 8, 1958 in Madison, WI, the son of William and Joan (Pomainville) Boyce. John married Paula Denk on September 16, 1995. John worked for over 20 years for North American Fabrication Company. John was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a graduate of Hononegah High School. John loved gardening, hunting, fishing, playing his guitars and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
John is survived by his wife Paula; daughter Megan Boyce (fiancé Jacob Davenport); son Benjamin Boyce; grandchildren Eian and Rowan Davenport, Clayton and Mason Boyce; father and step-mother William (Josephine) Boyce; brother William Boyce and sister Catherine (Adrian) Phillips
John was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Joan (Ken) Laughran; brothers Peter Boyce and Michael Laughran.
Memorial mass to celebrate John’s life will be 11:00 am Friday at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church 2222 Shopiere Road in Beloit, WI. Visitation for John will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded.
