Judith A Jossendal, age 82, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. Judith was born on August 9, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Aimee and Mary Manegre. Judith graduated from Commerce High School in 1960. On April 24, 1965 Judith married the love of her life, Norman Jossendal in Springfield, Massachusetts. Over the course of Judith's life she held various jobs in different industries. She was a parishioner at St. Edwards Catholic Church for many years in Rockford, Illinois. In her free time, Judith enjoyed crossword puzzles, tending to her flowers, and cooking for her family, especially her lasagna recipe that was passed down from her mother. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her children, Robin (Patrick) Gallagly, Bryan Jossendal, and Holly (Kevin) Sherman; grandchildren, Bryanne, Alex (Bri Roos), Jayden, Colton, and Brennan; her fur baby, Kitty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Jossendal; parents Aimee and Mary Manegre; and her brothers, Richard, Bobby, Billy, and Kenny.
A private family service and entombment will take place at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
