Judith M. Swinbank

Judith enjoyed baking, she aspired to own her own bakery in her younger years. She made delicious and beautifully decorated cakes at home for friends and family. She also enjoyed crochet and embroidery. Most of all she loved being a mother, Jeffrey especially was her world.

She is survived by her children, Melinda Foreman, Rebecca (George) Peterson, and Jeffrey Ewing Swinbank; grandchildren, Gregory Larson, Drake Larson, Andrea Peterson, Jacob Peterson, and Colton Peterson; great-grandchildren, Baelin Larson, Cullan Larson, Aubree Larson, Sabrina Burton, Michael Burton, Ryan Fuller, and Aubrey Fuller; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William Swinbank; parents, Ewing Kokotkiewicz and Rocile M Beck; and siblings, Larry Kokotkiewicz, Jimmy Kokotkiewicz, and Helen Ferguson.

A visitation for Judith will be held on Monday, September 8 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL, 61115. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 9 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, burial to follow.
