Karen Mae Hopkins, 72, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016. A life well lived she surrounded herself with the love and comfort of her family and pets. In 1960, she married Monte Hopkins and together raised their four daughters. He preceded her in death in 1993. Karen enjoyed watching Sci-Fi, collecting American Indian art, showcasing her talents in creating beautiful landscape art work, and loving on her grandkids. Her signature treats to all, Wrigleys Winterfresh Gum. Karen shared her affections with her cats, dogs and parakeets.
Survived by children, Corina Hopkins, Elizabeth Phillips, Robin (Charles) Watson, Susanne (Jeff) Bailey; grandchildren, John McCallum Jr., James Hopkins, Karen (Ricky) Dobbs, Nicole Phillips, Tate Bailey, Maxx Bailey; great-grandchildren, Nate Bond, Kaileigh McCallum, Benjamin Dobbs; sisters, twin Sharon Mock and Donna (Rudy) Erickson; several nieces and nephews.
