I worked with Kate at First Card/Chase. She lives in Belvidere and I put in the country about 8 miles from her and Ron. She recruited me to in Mary Kay which I did for several years. She was always a lot of fun! I have not seen her in few years and was surprised when on Facebook she said she had brain cancer. Kate I am so sorry you had the go thru what you did. I can see and feel the love for you in the messages here. Now you are with all that have gone before you including all of your dogs. We both love dogs! Thinking of you and I am happy you are at peace! Hugz and prayers until we meet again!

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments but what is woven into the lives of others. Lives are like rivers: eventually they go where they must. All things begin and end at the water of life. In the arms of God.

My dad has 3 sisters. Aunt Joan has every recipe you could ever need. She still calls me kiddo. She feels like home. Aunt Linda is so smart. She is soft spoken and gentle. She laughs more than she complains. Aunt Kathy is artistic. She is emotional and puts it all out there. She is unapologetically herself. I will miss her.

I remember thinking on this day that we were all lucky to have each other. Grandpa had been gone for so long. Grandma had been without him for so long. They must have wanted to be in each other's arms again so badly. We were lucky to have the time that we did. Now Grandpa isn't alone anymore. I am happy for the peace they have.

I remember finding out that my Aunt had sensitive skin, just like I did. It was a surprising moment because I often didn't feel like I belonged. She said "don't be so shocked kid! You can't escape belonging even if you wanted to." I still think of that moment. It made a bigger impact than she knew.

I was not lucky enough to live close. That's probably why every visit stood out to me. Aunt Kathy was always all smiles. Always happy for the company. She taught me about The Alan Parsons Project. And that listening was only important when you heard more than the words spoken. Sometimes life wasn't in the lyrics, sometimes it's in the melody.

Kate not only had a beautiful voice but she was beautiful as a person inside and out. The angels have another beautiful voice to add to their choir. We miss you lovely lady! Give heaven your very best! Our condolences to your family. Nick & Connie

Was so very sorry to hear of Kates passing.  We worked together at Belvedere USA Corp.  She was so much fun and we enjoyed so much laughter.  Thoughts and prayers to all of her family.  Bonnie Gibbs

Sincerest condolences to all of Kate's family and friends. She was my classmate in grade school, junior high, and high school. I last saw her im 2012 at a small reunion gathering of our junior high class . She was  a remarkable person, so kind.

Kate was a dear friend, and a singing member of the now debunked Traveling Karaoke Group, many memories too many to express , she will be missed. 🙏🙂
