Kathy J. Walsh

Kathy J. Walsh, 63, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Swedish American Hospital after a short illness. She was born September 5, 1954 in Viroqua, WI, the daughter of LaVerne and Naomi (Pelton) Melvin. Kathy was a very strong person, who loved reading her braille books, and listening to audio books. She loved talking on the phone.

Kathy is loved and will be missed by her son, Brian Walsh; grandchildren, Austin (Zoey) Walsh, and Breanna Walsh; great-grandchildren, Aubriella and Landen; brother, Tim (Carol) Melvin; sisters, Dolly (Jerry) McNier, Cindy (John) Spitzner, and Lynn (Tom) Buntjer. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one niece and one nephew.

A private family service will take place.
