Kenneth L. Sansom

Kenneth L. Sansom, 84, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. Born January 6, 1933 in Decherd, TN. Son of William and Jessie (Vant) Sansom. Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War. Member of the Masons. He loved to go fishing, collecting tools, loved reading anything and everything and he would never would turn down a cup of coffee. He enjoyed traveling all over including Ireland, Costa Rica and of course his favorite Las Vegas. He was the happiest being around his family and all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include, children, Connie (Keith) Gade, Gary Sansom, Lorie (Romulo) Brinkmeier, Jennifer (Kykham) Khamphouy; grandchildren, Erica (Thom) Patterson, Matthew (Melina) Brinkmeier, Jessica (Eric) Brinkmeier, Colin Khamphouy, Noah Khamphouy, Eva Khamphouy, Angela (Eric) Czyzewski, Jim (Megan) Gade, Natalie Sansom; great-grandchildren, Courtney Czyzewski, Aidan Gade, Alexander Patterson, Clara Patterson, Zachary Patterson; former spouse, Bonnie Sansom. Predeceased by parents; siblings, Clara, Shirley, Audrey, Annetta, Louis, Bob, Floyd; first wife, Kunigunde Sansom.
