
LaVone enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She liked crafting, especially ceramics. She also enjoyed collecting plates. She loved animals, especially kitties. LaVone loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her favorite saying was “Remember three words” (I love you). LaVone was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie (John) Andersen and Debbie Wallenberg; daughter-in-law, Lois Wallenberg; grandchildren, Shannon (Robert) Golightly, Daniel (Christina) Wallenberg, and Erik (Stephanie) Andersen; great-grandchildren, Lily Golightly, Nya Golightly, Kaitlyn Chilcutt, Brody Andersen, Daniel “Dade” Wallenberg, and Hope Wallenberg; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
LaVone was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wallenberg; parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Scholten; son, Danny Wallenberg; grandson, Kurt Andersen; and siblings, Don, Dick, Viola, and Dorothy.
The family would like to thank the staff at River Bluff for their compassionate care of LaVone.
