Margaret M. Brown, 84, of New Concord, KY formally of Rockford, IL passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in KY. Born February 7, 1927 in Canada to the late James and Florence Ann (Prouse) George. She was employed at the Testor Corp. for 50 years. Margaret married Petro Brown. Survivors include her daughters, Fay C. Spence of Rockford, IL, Shirley (David) Bell of New Concord, KY, son Gary R. Brown of Rockford, IL, sisters, Dorothy Cesario of New York, Helen George of Canada, brothers, Sandy (Fannie) George and Pete George both of Canada, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Petro Brown, sister, Irene Booth, brother, Henry George and one grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
