Margie "Marge" L. Wright

She and her parents left the south in the fifties and came to Rockford to reside. She preferred that people called her "Marge" and everyone did so. She was a wonderful homemaker as well as a wonderful wife and mother. Her family was her life and she enjoyed every minute with them. William and Marge had a beautiful life for 49 years.

Marge is survived by her husband, William Wright; daughter, Pamela Fetters; sons, Michael Wright (Daniel Ford) and Robert Wright (Susan Schneider); granddaughters, Nicole Murphy and Brandice Fetters (Jay Sanders); great-grandchildren, Jacob Fetters, Savannah Fetters, Gabrielle Murphy and Alexis Murphy.

Our family is thankful for all loving support and care that she received from Northern Illinois Hospice. We especially want to thank our mother’s caregiver, Dawn Ross, for everything she did to help our mother.

Funeral Service 1 p.m. Saturday, September 20th, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Avenue, Rockford; with Rev. Brenda Byrne officiating. Visitation 11 – 1 p.m. on the day of service. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be a Celebration of Life at The Office, 513 E. State Street, after the funeral.
