LOVES PARK, IL Maria Del Carmen Manriquez, 44, was welcomed into heaven after surrendering to cancer on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born July 12, 1971 in Mexico, to Antonio and Margarita Herrera. Maria worked at McDonalds for over 25 years working her way to management, and creating many friendships. She loved the fall season and looked forward to trips to the Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch. She loved the thrill of the newest action movies. She found pleasure in the simple gifts of life; a beautiful sunset, angels, and snowflakes. Her greatest joy was her son, Michael and cookouts with the family.
Survivors: parents; son Michael; sisters, Lydia (Tom), Ana L.Herrera and Theresa (Thomas) Garcia.
Memorial Service: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, Il. Rosary recited at 6:30. p.m.
