Mary F. Holstein passed away suddenly Monday, March 5, 2012, in her home. She was born April 18, 1930, daughter of Edward and Virginia Wright. She was raised in Charleston, West Virginia and married LeRoy E. Holstein of Racine, WV, on March 4, 1949. Mary retired from the packing department in1992 after working more than 35 years at Amerock Corporation of Rockford, IL. She was predeceased by her husband LeRoy on February 21, 2012. Survivors include sister-in-law Genevieve Abbott, sons Charles(Mary) of Belvidere, Thomas(Pam) of Kansas City, MO, Michael(Jana) of Mission Viejo, CA, grandchildren Stephen(Linda), Michael, David, James(Chandra), Sarah Pettengill(Zach), Jason, and Christina(Preston) Stephenson and great grandchildren Ethan, Elijah, and Amelie. Visitation is 10:00 AM Saturday, March 10, with funeral services at 10:30 AM at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N Alpine Road Machesney Park with an interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
