

Formerly employed at Logli Foods and Pizza Hut, Matt was currently employed at Gleason Cutting Tools in the Coating Department.
He graduated from Harlem High School and obtained many automotive certificates from Rock Valley College.
A loving, caring, generous, helpful, and hardworking individual; Matt was a great role model for his brothers and friends.
He enjoyed spending his time restoring his car, cooking, laughing, bowling, movies, listening to music, making video’s, camping, and hanging out with his friends around the camp-fire.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Lois (Brad) Braun; father, Stanley Savage; grandparents, Donald Lee, Roberta Kelley, Charles and Betty Savage; brothers, Steven Savage, Nicholas, Steven (Tina), and Kurtis (Rachael) Braun; best friend, Jake Carlson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jean and Darrel Braun.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21st, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road; Pastor Keith Manley officiating. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 20th, at the funeral home.
