Meada JoAnn Brick, 75, of Loves Park, passed away, Friday, January 28, 2011 in her home. Born August 6, 1935 in Russell County, VA to Benjamin and Cora (Skeens) Powers. Graduate of Castlewood High School, VA. Married Francis Edward Brick on October 30, 1954 in Rockford. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Brick of Machesney Park and Marcy (Lenny) Phillips of Cocoa, FL; son, Edward Brick of Loves Park; brother, Woody (Jan) Powers of Fort Mill, SC; sisters, Linda (William) Townes of Johnson City, TN., Rhonda (Chuck) Field of Durham, NC ., Reva (Denny) Booker of Dante, VA; sister-in-law, Carol Brick of Macomb, IL; grandchildren, Ethan, Ayden and Payton. Predeceased by her husband, Francis Edward; parents and two infant sons. Funeral services at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd.
