Mildred Grace Young, 79, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Born November 21, 1940 in Wheatland, WI. Daughter of Phillip Ray and Eva Janet (Seymour) Torgerson. Mildred was one of 14 children born to her parents.
Survived by her sons, Johnny and Rick Young; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her daughter, Debra Case.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 28 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
