Paul E. Benge, born July 21, 1929 in London, KY, the son of Dough and Dorothy Benge. Married Dorothy Albert July 24, 1948 at Fort Knox, KY. Paul retired in 1987 as Vice President of Manufacturing at Rockford Clutch. Survivors include wife, Dorothy, daughters Julie Trejo, Joy Benge and son John Benge. Grandchildren are twins Alex and Andrew Marini and great grandchild Max (Maxibear) Julian Benge Marini, one sister survives, Billie Thomas. He was always there for everyone who needed help in anyway. He was truly a good man and will be surely missed by his family and all his many friends. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
