Phyllis E. Hawkins

Phyllis E. Hawkins, 87, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Saturday morning, August 3, 2019. Born June 7, 1932 in Rockford, the daughter of William and Nellie (Brown) Vincer. Phyllis was employed by Amerock for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, doing embroidery and canning foods. Most of all, her pride and joy was her little dog, Katie.

Phyllis is loved and missed by her children, Jean (Steve) Vittetow, Paul (Debbie) Davis and Diana Moll; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and 1 sister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation from 1:00 p.m., until the time of service.
