Raymond Jankovich, 61, of Belvidere, IL passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Born June 13, 1949 the son of the late Raymond and Theresa Jankovich. He served in the Army during Vietnam and is a Purple Heart recipient. Raymond enjoyed listening to classical and country music and traveling. He was a member of the V.F.W, American Legion, Boone County Veterans Club, Disabled American Veterans Association and a previous member of the Civil War Round Table. Raymond married Sandra Hubl on March 26, 2007. Survivors include his wife Sandra, step-daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Brooks, grandchildren, Miranda, Zoe, brothers, Rick (Noreen), Ron (Mona), Don (Norjean), Jim (Kathy) and John (Karen) Jankovich, nieces and nephews, Matthew, Sarah, Samantha, Michael, John, Michelle, Ronnie, Donald Jr, Eugene and Richard. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
