Regina Leuschke

Regina Leuschke, 90, formerly of Milwaukee, went to be home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2012. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life”. (John 6:47).

She was born on November 14, 1922 to John and Lucy (Berka) Zydowicz in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

She married Wayne Calvin Leuschke on February, 19, 1955 and remained with him until his passing in 1990.

Regina loved crafts, was an avid sewer and enjoyed putting together puzzles. She loved going out for lobster and dessert with her daughter and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Carrie (Craig) LeGros; grandsons Calvin (Christina) LeGros and Corey LeGros; great granddaughter Angeletta and another baby on the way. Regina is survived by other friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.

Regina is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her parents; her son, Dale Leuschke and 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, IL. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Lee Weber will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at West Lawn Memorial Park, Racine WI.
