Rickey “Rick” A. Papworth, 67, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at home. Rick was born to Robert and Grace Papworth on February 11, 1958, in Woodstock, Illinois, where he also attended high school. While growing up in the Woodstock area, he became an Eagle Scout. He spent most of his career with Miller Formless Co. out of McHenry, Illinois. When the weather allowed, Rick enjoyed a good game of golf with the YMCA’s Men’s Golf Club. He also enjoyed camping. Above all else, Rick enjoyed time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Andrew) Helser; grandchildren, Gunnar Helser and Evelyn Helser; brother, Dave (Debby) Papworth; former wife, Gina Papworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Grace; siblings, Robin Papworth, and Denny Russell.
