Robert H. Fromm

Robert H. Fromm, 76, of Rockford IL. Passed away November 24, 2021. He was born on December 10, 1944 to Marguerite and Howard Fromm in Merton, Wisconsin. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He graduated from Hazel Green High school in Wisconsin. Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature. He was also a Cub Master with the Boy Scouts pack 371. Robert was employed for over 40 years at Camcar, and had a strong work ethic. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed baseball and football. One of Robert’s most frequently used sayings was “Out of the road.” He will be missed by many.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children; James (Kim) Fromm, and Cyla (Pete) Fromm-Minett, grandchildren; Tyanne Cochran, Tyler Fromm, Tyla Truax, Nicole Minett, and Kyle Minett, he is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and extended family members whom he loved dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his parents, and his son, David Fromm.

A funeral service for Robert is scheduled for Saturday December 4, at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL. A visitation will take place at 1pm until the time of service. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
