Sandra Chamberlain

Sandra (Bedin) Hoel-Chamberlain, 66, of Rockford passed away December 19, 2010 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born January 15, 1944 in Rockford, IL the daughter of John Michael and Lena (Campoli) Bedin. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling, traveling, and going on cruises. She was a fun loving girl whom loved to laugh all the time. She will be greatly missed. She was the best daughter from the time she was little until present day. Sandra married John W. Hoel in 1963 he preceded her in death. She later married George Chamberlain in 1984; he also preceded her in death. Survivors include her mother Lena, sons, John (Tina) Hoel, Donald Hoel, two grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Hoel, five step children, 23 step-grandchildren, 13 step- great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews, Johnny, Chrystal, Corrine, Michael, and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Michael Bedin. Special Thanks to the C.N.A Nurses at the Dove Unit at River Bluff Nursing Home for the compassion and care they gave Sandra. Services will be 10:00 am Friday, December 24, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
