Susan D. Perry, 74, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, May 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1948 in New Jersey, the daughter of John and Rebecca (Shoemaker) Dallavo. Susan married the love of her life, Douglas R. Perry on January 3, 1975. She was a secretary at Atwood, Harlem Middle School, Rockford Septic and North Park Fire Department. Susan was also an EMT for Lifeline Ambulance for many years. She belonged to the Women on Snow Club. Susan enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, gardening, reading and crocheting. Most of all, Susan adored spending time with her family.
Susan is loved and missed by her children, Keith (Jesy) Perry and Kevin (April) Perry; grandchildren, Noah, Nina, Aiden and Kelsey; nieces, Shelby and Becklyn. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Douglas who passed 26 hours after her and her sister, Mary.
A celebration of life will take place in the future.
