Veousha "Sally" S. Murphy

Veousha Selma (Sally) Dunseth Murphy, 78, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born November 11, 1938 in Dixon, IL; daughter of Francis Clay and Veousha Emma (Marquitz) Dunseth. Graduate of Harlem High School, Class of 1956. Married John Charles Murphy on October 25, 1958, at St. Bridget Catholic Church of Loves Park. He predeceased her in 2005. Sally was a member of St James Catholic Church, The Moose, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, St. Peter’s Cathedral and the St. Anne's Society. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 6 children and completing her Professional Payroll Certification.

Survived by her children, Veousha Leann (Mark) Hoefer, Carol (Ron) Benoy, Denise Murphy, John (Maria) Murphy, Diana (Michael) McCarthy, Lisa (Michael) Murphy-Coveny; grandchildren, Veousha Lynn, Samantha, Mathew, Andrew, Danielle, Damon, Ashly, Chad, Briana, Ryan, Logan, Kyra, Sean, Erin, Emily, Meagan, John, Kyle; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Duaine (Glenda) Dunseth, Patricia Grant, Jack Dunseth. Predeceased by her parents and husband of 47 years.
