Willis “Pete” F. Radcliff, 93, of Rockford, passed away on January 8, at Rockford Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Born on May 17, 1919 in Deer Creek, he was the son of Elmer and Bessie (Hendricks) Radcliff. He was widowed
A WWII U.S. Army Veteran, he retired from Illinois Machine Products in 1986.
Pete was a man who lived a happy and full life. He was a great provider for his family and he enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time in Florida where he lived for a brief period of time. He was just an all around guy.
His survivors include his daughters, Janice Furman of Rockford, Ada Hendrick of Byron, Carol (Loren) Hobson of Sebring, FL; his son, Willis R. (Marilu) Radcliff of Union City, CA; eight grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife and parents.
