Wilma Leta Young, 97, of Rockford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 24, 2017. Born May 8, 1920 in Round Grove, MO. Daughter of Wade and Mandy Hurst. United in marriage to Delbert Young on October 20, 1956 in Rockford, IL. Worked at Barber Coleman for 35 years. Attended City First Church for 70 years.
Survivors include her husband, Delbert; stepson, Jim (Cynthia) Young; step-grandchildren, Randy (Janelle) Young, Mike Young and Stacy Young; step-great-grandchildren, Jack, Carter, Dawson and Tate Young. Predeceased by her parents; special extended sister, Lois Eicher.
