

Alice T. Ferguson, 66, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens with Mr. Greg Weeks officiating. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Saturday at Mrs. Ferguson’s residence.
Mrs. Ferguson, wife of the late Johnnie B. Ferguson, was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the daughter of the late Archie and Ola Mae Scott Bowen. She was a Nursing Station Secretary retired from Coliseum Medical Center and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Joycliff Road Congregation. Mrs. Ferguson was devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by the family she cherished, her sons, David (Sherri) Moore, Brian (Jessica) Moore and Christopher Moore; several beloved grandchildren; her sister, Bessie Mae Hill; her brother, David Bowen and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
