Betty was a proud member of St. Peter Catholic Church on Ward St. She graduated in the first-class of Bishop O’Connell H.S., Arlington, VA., where she met Gary and their lifelong adventure began. She furthered her education at Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, VA., and then attended the Washington School for Secretaries.
Betty and Gary were blessed with four children, Timmy (deceased early in life), David & Julie Musolf (Adam & Lauren), Michael and Lauren Musolf (Sarah & Sammy) and Karen Musolf. Betty has two siblings, a sister, Mary and Dan Cogan; her brother, Jim and Brenda Eiland; brother-in-law, Ron and Madge Musolf; and sister-in law, Judy Musolf along with 12 nieces and nephews, and 31 grand nieces and nephews.
Betty’s circle of friends was vast and diverse, often sharing joyous moments with her close friends Katherine and Marion. She was known for her radiant light spreading joy and inclusiveness wherever she went.
Betty was an Affiliate with the Daughters of Charity, a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Society, and volunteered in various capacities including Daybreak and the Wear Store.
