Betty J. Tarter

Betty Jean Tarter, 81, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County. Rev. Paul Dziadul will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to Little Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tarter was born in Tifton, Georgia the daughter of the late Cora Sanford Tarter and Linus Tarter. She was retired as a clerk from the Bibb County Tax Office and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Tarter is survived by her nieces, Gina Grimes, Debbie Day, and Donna Richland; 4 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews.
