

BYRON – Beverly Bentley Mitchell, 54, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Willie Crosby will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Martha Bentley.
Mrs. Mitchell, daughter of the late Henry Lewis Bentley, was born in Macon and lived in this area all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society of Macon and Warner Robins. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of First Christian Church of Centerville.
A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her family, her husband, Kenneth Mitchell of Byron; her son, Warren Travis (Rachel) Trimble of McDonough; her daughter, Jessica Wilder of Macon; her stepdaughter, Michelle Crews of Macon; her stepson, Kenneth Mitchell, Jr. of Marion, OH; her mother, Martha M. Bentley of Macon; her brother, Cecil (Grechen) Bentley of Athens; two grandchildren, Luke Trimble and Reagan Trimble of McDonough; and nieces.
