Christopher Ryan Whitson

Christopher Ryan Whitson, 25, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Rock Springs Church, 1415 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia with the Rev. Michael Fuller and Dr. Lee Sheppard officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Braveheart, [email protected] in memory of Christopher Ryan Whitson.

Chris was born in Macon, Georgia to Stephen Michael and Michelle Morris Whitson. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janet Morris and his grandfathers, Stephen Lee Whitson and Walter Howard and great grandparents, Hazel LaBrie and William T. Jamison. Chris was a student at Southern Crescent Technical College. He was a member of Rock Springs Church, Young Adult Ministry, volunteered with the Children’s Ministry and High School Ministry. Chris was an avid car and sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Braves. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, grandchild, nephew and cousin.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Michelle Whitson, brother, Liam Whitson, grandmother, Sandy Howard, grandfather, Don Morris, aunt, Jennifer (Jason) Boyer and uncle, Tom (Rochelle) Whitson and several cousins.
