I was so sorry to hear about Daniel passing away. I can only imagine the grief and sadness you are feeling and wish I could take all your pain away.

It has been many years since I have been around Daniel, but from the years I spent with him at Stratford, I can still remember the sound of his infectious laugh, his big smile and watching him play soccer with sometimes one or two broken arms! He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I pray that all of you will feel God’s love during this very difficult time and remember all the good times you had together. I love you!

Dan was more than just a friend; he was a brother whose presence brightened up the darkest of spaces. His selfless nature and genuine aura inspired joy in everyone around him, and I feel blessed to have shared countless memories with him. He was also the kind of friend who would sit and hold space for you in the darkness when you needed it. Then he would dance with you in the light. His presence brought light to my very dark world on many occasions. 
Dan would travel countless miles just to be with someone who was grieving over anything. Time nor distance mattered when it came to him making an effort to make his friends smile. He drove from Macon to Nashville for one night so that he could celebrate my birthday a few years ago. To this day that is one of the best hugs I've ever had in my life.  We traveled so many miles together, dancing and laughing all the way. When I was depressed, he dragged me to a Panic show to remind me why I had so many reasons to smile. He was one of the most genuine people I've ever known. He was exactly the person he presented himself to be, and that was refreshing in a world where that is not always the case. He knew how to hold people's secrets and never judge them regardless of their choices. He was one of those once in a lifetime friends, and I am infinitely grateful that I got to be one of those people who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Dan showed everyone he ever met love and always had great stories and jokes. Even though it was a small window of time I got to be around him I'll always remember him and the kindness he showed to everyone. Rest easy brother, I know you're kicking it with Todd Nance and Mikey Houser, jamming out, and looking down upon us with a smile. 

 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Daniel made a special trip all the way from Georgia to New Bern NC just to meet Xander James Skywalker Yezarski, weeks after his birth. He was nervous and shakin' like a leaf on a tree.  But all kidding aside, Uncle Dan did a spectacular job with little Xander and I will forever cherish every moment I had the pleasure to be in Daniel's presence. The world was a better place with you in it brother. I'm sorry Xander won't get to know you like I did. Rest In Peace brother.  Save me a seat🙏🏽
