

Diane Beck, 61, joined her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday at Macon Evangelistic Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Berrier will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. They suggest that those who wish may make memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association.
Mrs. Beck, wife of the late Richard Alan Beck, Sr., was a lifelong resident of Macon and the daughter of the late John Wilber and Vivian Beckworth Dobson.
She was retired from Medical Records at Middle Georgia Hospital. Mrs. Beck was a loyal and active member of Macon Evangelistic Church since 1979 where she was a member of the Daily Bread Drama Team and a participant in the “He Touched Me” play for many years. She enjoyed crafting and most of all, enjoyed serving as a “Mother Figure” to many children.
Survivors include her devoted family, her son, Alan Beck; daughter, Kimberly (Ben) Heifferon; brother, Wayne (Brenda) Dobson; sister, Valeria (Ed) Elliott; sister-in-law, Susan (Kenny) Barker; several nieces and nephews.
