

Dolly C. Yeager, 88, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at Forest Hills United Methodist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jimmy Towson and the Rev. Dianne Sweckard will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Judd, Todd Judd, Bobby Williams, Mike Smith, Darrell Smith and Les Peek. Members of the Seekers Sunday School Class are asked sit as a group. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Thursday at the church. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
Mrs. Yeager, wife of the late Robert D. Yeager, was born in Twiggs County daughter of the late Harvey and Carrie Kitchens. She was retired from the Bakery Department of Piggly Wiggly on Forest Hill Road. Mrs. Yeager was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church where she was active in the life of her church and United Methodist Women. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who worshiped and adored her family and was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include her daughters, Jean Williams of Macon, Ginger (Larry) Cowart of Macon, Janice Smith of Gray, Sue (Ed) Judd of Dawsonville, GA; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Martinek of Macon, Mike (Tonya) Smith of Gray, Darrell Smith of Gray, Bobby (Wanda) Williams of Sylvania, Penny (George) Reynolds of Macon, Michell (Eddie) Williams of Gordon, Richard (Polly) Judd of Dawsonville and Todd Judd of Dawsonville; nineteen great grandchildren.
